Composition Book Cover

Just having fun sewing and quilting a composition book cover. I think the inspiration came when I saw a tutorial on the Riley Blake blog. I just happened to have the same fabric at home that was used in their version. They make great little gifts and they are fun to make:)

Cowgirl / Cowboy Western Quilt

Oversized queen Cowgirl/ Cowboy Western quilt. Fabrics featured in this quit consist of chevrons, bandana prints, cowboy boots, and otherwise Western style prints. Quilted with an overall swirl pattern which looks like lassos all over the quilt. Pretty cowboy/cowgirl I'd say:) This was a commissioned quilt for a very special couple's wedding in Oregon:) I also purchased additional fabric in order to make shams and pillow cases to match the quilt which was my little wedding gift for the newly weds:)
I also found a stamp set on ebay that was super perfect for making a quilt label. I'll attach some pics of that as well:) I really like this quilt a lot, so much so, that I'm thinking to buy another set of fabrics to make another one just like it. Hope I can still find these fabrics online since I had such a hard time locating them to begin with. They sold out so quickly in every online store!

Flannel Rag Baby Quilt

Just finished this oh so soft and cuddly flannel rag quilt. I used Riley Blake's Sidewalk flannels, the colors in this line are just beautiful! The front has the exposed raggy edges, the back is completely smooth. I layered 100% cotton batting from Warm & Natural between the two flannel fabrics for more more warmth and softness. For the binding, I used 100% cotton fabric from the same fabric line.  This quilt will get softer with each wash. I might have to keep it, can't believe how buttery soft this quilt actually is. Swoon:)
You'll find this lovely quilt in my little etsy shop hopefully soon:)

Jelly Roll Quilt with Minky

This quilt was made with a jelly roll consisting of Tina Givens fabrics called "Opal Owl". Backed with a soft minky and quilted with a swirl pattern on my longarm machine. It turned out so pretty and cuddly! I donated this quilt to a very special Montessori school to be auctioned off. I also made a matching pillow:)

More cute Baby Quilts

Just finished two more baby quilts for a super sweet customer of mine! What could be more cute than an owl quilt:) This fabric is just so adorable! The other quilt was made with fabrics from the "Backyard Baby" line which ranks pretty high in the cuteness factor as well. This quilt could be for either a girl or boy! Two lucky babies in Illinois will be receiving these:)
